An Evening of Beethoven, Brahms, and Ravel
Violin and Piano Recital, 7pm
The award-winning violinist Ravi Veriah Jacques performs Beethoven’s Spring Sonata, Ravel’s Tzigane, and other compositions, accompanied on piano by Daniel King Smith.
A pupil of the renowned teacher Maciej Rakowski, Ravi plays with great passion and exuberance, making him a favourite with audiences. For one night only, he brings his talents to Burgh House, giving fresh voice to the music of some of the world’s greatest composers.
Tickets are £18, and all proceeds from the evening will go to the Harinder Veriah Trust, a charity that supports the education of girls from some of the poorest backgrounds in Malaysia.
