Hampstead has long been an artistic hub for artists and intellectuals. A number of the major British art movements of the twentieth century, including the Camden Town Group, the Vorticists and the Bloomsbury Group, had members who lived, worked or drew inspiration from Hampstead's unique beauty and charm.
